I'm applying for OCI in lieu of valid PIO. I uploaded PIO, Passport, Employment and Address proof. I see that I also need to send more signed forms to VFS like "Undertaking", "Consent", "Affidavit" etc. Do all those also need to be uploaded? They didn't seem to fit the categories shown on the upload drop down.

Follow the document checklist. It is elaborate. I suggest printing it and writing/making tick marks on what you did. This was helpful for me. I agree it is unclear what document fits which category from the drop down. There should be one or more documents for each category. You might have to merge (scan together) if more than one document fits a category. You don't upload everything you send to VFS.
The checklist says,
All the supporting documents, including those which may not be uploaded under broad categories, must be submitted with the application form as per the checklist.
