Hi,
I submitted the OCI application for my 5 yr old on May 1st. I got an email today saying this -
------------------------
We have "Received" your Application however we are unable to proceed with the application due to the following reasons:
Remarks:
Applicants 5 years and above must upload their Signature on first page of application. Please reupload signature on Gov’t website, reprint the existing form and mail your documents to 642 Harrison Street, 2nd Floor San Francisco CA 94107
-----------------------
For #1 , while submitting the application, I submitted a self-attested declaration that my kid is unable to sign and so we will use the thumbprint. I don't know why still ask to upload the Signature.
For #2, I opted for a photo service while paying, so I did not send the photographs. After submtiting the application, I used the photo upload service and uploaded the photo (and I paid again for photos following this). I don't know why they say the photograph is missing.
Can someone please suggest how to proceed from here ? Should I call their customer care and clarify these things ?
If I had to send the photograph, should it be the same photo that I previously uploaded (or) are they asking for a new photograph because the previous one didn't meet specifications ?
Thanks
