Hi,
While filling out OCI application for the fresh OCI, I need to provide spouse information and have following question. My spouse and I were Indian citizen by birth and recently acquired USA citizenship and renounced our Indian citizenship.
1. There is a change in middle name for my spouse's India and USA passport. Her India passport has middlename+'BHAI' but her USA passport has just middlename. Should I enter her name in the application per India passport or USA? Her Indian passport has already been renounced and she has valid USA passport.
2. If I have to mentioned her name per India passport then should I also submit her name change notarized affidavit along with my OCI application?
I have attached the snip per OCI application for quick reference. I haven't submitted her OCI application yet but having plan to do once I submit mine.
If anyone has gone through this scenario, I appreciate if you can share your experience or guide accordingly.
