Application and docs received back along with new passport for passport renewal

Hi

I applied my wife passport renewal at Chicago recently and got her new passport along with old passport as well. Surprised to see that they sent me back all the documents like the application, Notary docs, photos (whatever I sent) along with new passport in a single shipment. Is it normal and no issue further? Did anyone else received the application and docs back with new passport? Appreciate an early response.

I'm impressed! Once they verify and scan, there is no point in keeping them—a significant improvement. Kudos to MEA. Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope someone who had a recent passport renewal can share more.
