OCI 50+ question

Hi I got OC card and US passport in 2014. I turned 50 last year. My passport is still valid until end of this year. After I get new passport next year, do I need to just update passport details or do I need get new OC card ?

I will be travelling to india in 1 month, i had my oci renewed(or whatever they call it as) when i was 52 by uploading passport/photo to oci website, got ack that they received and 1 month later it got updated. Can i travel safe or will the travel desk stop me from going to india. I thought the OCI has to be renewed physically
