Place of birth in renunciation certificate

I have Bangalore as Place of birth in birth certificate as well as my passport. Should I use Bangalore or Bengaluru in the renunciation certificate? My spouse also has a similar issue with Calcutta in the BC and Kolkata in the passport. What should we use for place of birth in the renunciation certificate?
