Hi, I am applying for OCI application for my minor kids and have a few questions after reading the checklist.
Context:
* I was born in India and moved to United States on green card and now I am US citizen
* I have an OCI card and US passport
* My wife is a US citizen and has no connection to India
* Both my kids are minors and were born in the US, so they are US citizen
* I'm applying for OCI for my kids and after reading over the checklist on VFS Global, I have a few small questions.

Questions:
- The parental authorization form that needs to be notarized says "The both parents or guardians should provide a copy of his/her ID card with signature and the child birth certificate."
- Q: Is the signature that's already on the passport sufficient or we need to add some other signature or is this just talking about the document we need to show to the notary person (I understand passport & birth certificates need to be mailed out anyways, so question is about the signature requirement)?
- Kids digital signature must also be uploaded online on the OCI portal (only in blue or black ink).
- Q: Digital signature instructions are not in that checklist, but I assume they are same as what's listed in the adult's application form -- "The height and width of the Signature Photo must have aspect ratio 1:3 a. The minimum dimensions are 200 pixels (width) x 67 pixels (height). b. The maximum dimensions are 1500 pixels (width) x 500 pixels (height)."
- Q: which pages of the parents + kids US passports do we need to scan -- is the photo page and the page opposite which contains the signature enough ?
- For Parents, it asks "PIO / OCI Card of parents along with documents on the basis of which PIO/OCI card was issued"
- Q: I can provide a copy of my OCI card, but what do I need to include for "along with documents on the basis of which PIO/OCI card was issued" ?
- For parents, it says "Copies of naturalization certificates and current foreign passports of parents: If parents have acquired foreign nationality, copies of their naturalization certificates and current foreign passports may be provided"
- Q: I will be including parents passports, but do I also need to provide a copy of my green card naturalization certificate, even though I am a US citizen now" -- I don't mind including it just in case but wanted to check
- Q: Proof of address is confusing for minors -- but reading online, I can include scanned 1) drivers license for both the parents 2) "write a letter stating child lives at this address and get it notarized" ?
- Q: In "Affidavit for copies of forms" and "Undertaking form" -- can the parent sign/get it notarized or we need to list minor's name (and minor needs to be present at notary time)? The "consent form" specifically allows parents to sign for minors, but these two forms don't say that.
