  • Completed OCI form - Photo size issue

    Hi All,

When uploading on the govt site, the image and signature was right, but when I printed the completed form the photo printed is smaller than 2X2. is this normal?
Can I just paste the real photo which is 2X2 when mailing the application?

Also at the VFS site, the label for "VFS to me" is it for the actual OCI card?

I am new to this but I thought at some point after submission they will ask for the original US passport and then give it back to us?

    Thanks for your help!

When dealing with OCI form submissions, ensuring your photo meets the specified dimensions and quality requirements is crucial. Many applicants find the photo size guidelines somewhat challenging, leading to delays in processing. I've stumbled upon a resource that might help alleviate some of these issues. If you're looking for quality portrait references this guide offers various examples that can give you a clear idea of the standards for passport and visa photos. I found it particularly helpful for understanding framing and composition, which made my submission process smoother. It's definitely worth a look to avoid the common pitfalls in photo submissions.
