Hello,
I'm preparing to submit my OCI application as a "foreign national with a previously Indian passport". I used VFS services to fill out the application. They took the first page of my Indian passport and converted it into a single document, and also used only the front page of my US passport for the application. However, after browsing through Reddit threads, it seems that most people have uploaded the first and last two pages of their passports.
Do you think my application could be rejected because I’m submitting the first and last page in a single document? Also, how many copies of documents (US passport, Indian passport, driver’s license, US naturalization certificate, and surrender certificate) need to be submitted with the application? My understanding is that I need to self-attest all documents but should get these 5 specific documents notarized before submitting. Is that correct? How many copies need to be submitted with the application?
Thanks in advance for your help!
