Brizillian citizen child/Going back to India

My child is holding a Brazillian Passport as she was born in Brazil. However, we are returning to Indian in Oct 2011 (when she will just 11 months). Is it possible to give up the Brazillian passport after going to India and applying for the Indian citizenship stating that both parents are Indian Citizens.


Any help will be highly regarded.

You need to report your child's birth at the Indian Embassy/Consulate in Brazil and apply for her passport there.
