Need OCI for Family

Hi,


I have a tourist visa to India and am surprised at this new rule of can't go back within two months of exit of the country. That said, I am looking to get an OCI card for me and my family. Do you guys help with this?


Is it true that during the OCI application I can't travel back to India?

As long as you are on tourist visa, you can't travel again to India within two months of exit, unless you take a special permit for a justified reason. /permit-to-reenter-india-within-two-months/

The same rule continues to apply as long as you want to travel on tourist visa, whether your OCI application is process or not.

Once you get OCI, there are no more such restrictions. /oci-card/
