Hi,
I'm filling out the passport application (Indian) form for my mother.
What should be the ECNR category?
To fall under ECNR category:
1) you are 50 years or old
or
2) you are metric pass(10th standard)
or
3) Have PAN card, and need last years income tax statement and income tax return should not be NULL

My mother is 48 years old and has a PAN card however. She is not metric pass.
She does not fall under any category. So, Should I check the ECR?
She will visit United states.(no other country)
For US, ECR is however not required.
How do I proceed ? Pls give me any inputs.
