NY - OCI Processing delays in

hi,

I have applied for OCI in dec, acknowledge on jan 25th and got an inquire in feb which i duly send required docs (DL) , now i don't see any more updates..

any idea how long it takes to process OCI at NY consulate?

The Consulate site says 40 days if there is no adverse information needed. For me, I have applied for my wife and it reached the Consulate on Jan 31 and so far we have not seen any acknowledgment. Dont know what the situation is.

I guess just hang in there. Try sending them an email and see what they have to say.
