Hi,
I had a passport issued in India where my first and last name both were put in Surname and the GivenName field was empty.
Surname : <first> <last>
GivenName : __________
In Jul-2010, I renewed by passport in NY - USA and ended with with first and last both into the Givenname field.
Surname : ____________
GivenName : <first> <last>
In all the US documentation, I have put <first> and <last> name seperately.
I have passed the stage of PERM and I-140.
Now if I go ahead and submit documents for the split to make it look like
Surname : <last name>
Givename : <first name>
(a) do we get a new passport#.
(b) How fast will I get back the passport.
(c) will it cause any issue in the GC processing that I have completed till now or in the next stages.
Thanks
SJ.
