Hi I am planning to apply for passport renewal by mail from Embassy of India, DC. As per guidelines, they require notarized copy of all supporting documents and I believe its true for copy of Marriage Certificate ( if status on application is Married).
Now problem is Notary Public denied to notarize Marriage Certificate as he is not authorized for same.
What needs to be done in this case? I don't want to personally go to Embassy.
Is there another option which Indian Embassy can consider.
