i recently applied online for a duplicate passport in lieu of loss, I havae all my documents..police report..old passport copies..notory..etc..etc..
i printed the application form (the one with the bar code on the top right)(with some of the information filled in) after registering.. and i sent all my papers to the New york Consulate..
a week later i recieved all my papers back with "kindly register with NYCGI" written on it.
I dont know what that means. i thought i was already registered.(dont you have to register to get the application print out?)
i tried calling the consulate a million times..no answer
sent and email too..no answer
can someone please advice..
someone told me to print the bar code on the top right of the online application and put it as the first page..
any other ideas?
