  • travel in 2 months from SF: OCI, PIO or Entry Visa?

I have been stupid and wasted several months not applying for my OCI card after acquiring US citizenship. Now I need to go to India ASAP, not later than 2 months. What's my best bet, given I am in the San Francisco area? With the switch over to Travisa for OCI processing, I guess there is no data yet on processing times. How about PIO? Is that risky as well? If possible I will like not to waste a couple of hundred dollars in one time visa fees.

Apply for PIO it takes 2 - 4 weeks.

Travisa has no control over the OCI approval as the approval comes from Delhi for which the entire process for OCI is 180 days if applying via Houston.

My experience with San Francisco Consulate

Tourist Visa / Entry visa - 15 business days
OCI - exactly 2 months from my sending the papers to getting back the passport/OCI at hand.
