If anyone out there know that once you have your Registration Status "GRANTED", and have your Document Printing Staus "PRINTED"; can you get your OCI in person or you have to mail your US Passport, and $20.00 fee to get your OCI card, and your "U"-Visa sticker on your US passport. As it is not very clear on CGI Houston web-site, and after reading it one gets the feeling that you have to mail the Passport, and return mailing fee to get your OCI card and "U" sticker.

Current requirements state that the US passport has to be sent along with the OCI application or the entire package will be returned back. The choice is up to you whether to pickup at the consulate or have them mail the printed oci card but this has to be made before you send the application.
