HI all ,
My daughter was born in jan 2011 in US and I took indian visa for 6 months and now my wife and daughter are in India. I couldnt get the PIO card due to travisa outsourcing which happened in March, so had to get the visa.
Now they are want to stay there for another 6 months or so. Is there any way to extend my daughter's visa. Can I apply for PIO card in india and if I get it before the visa expires then can they stay there for what ever time they want. In that case do I have to inform some local police station or indian embassy about the extension.
I am still in US. I tried indian consulates number in Chennai but no body picks the phone.
Can someone please help me.
