US Born child in India

Hi

My baby was born in USA and he has US passport till 2015 and PIO card 2025. Currently he is in india since last 5 months. he will stay more than 1-2 years in India, so what should we do to stay in India if more than 6 months. ?
any process is required for stay more than 6 months ?
Where we need to go for registration ?
Please help me on that

This might give some idea. Especially the last bullet point.

•No requirement of visa to visit India when PIO card is carried along with the national passport;
•No requirement of a Student Visa for undertaking studies in India and Employment visa for taking up employment in India. However, PIO cardholders would be required to fulfill other pre-requisite conditions and formalities in connection with their studies/employment as prescribed by concerned authorities from time to time.
•No requirement to register with the Foreigners Registration Officer if continuous stay on a single visit does not exceed 180 days. If continuous stay exceeds 180 days, then registration is required to be done within a period of 30 days of the expiry of 180 days with the concerned Foreigners Regional Registration Officer / Foreigners Registration Officer.

Can you please guide me how we can register @ FRRO office and
where is it located in Ahmedabad - Gujarat ?
