My spouse is in USA on an L1 visa and I have a dependent L2 visa. My passport expires in April, 2012. Hence, I would like to get my Passport reissued.
I checked your website for the details regarding the same. The www.indiacgny.org website states that I need a proof of residence as a supporting document.
As I am a dependent in USA, all the address proofs (like Phone bill, Bank Statement etc) are in the name of my spouse. None of these residence proofs have my name on it. In such a case, how do I provide a proof of residence for myself ? Can I use my spouse's residence proof for the application ?
