Can anyone tell how can i get oci i am british passport holder i gave up my nationality in 1980 and i have no proof of surrendering my indian passport.i went to indian embassy and they told me to get from a notory public, If this is possible please can some one help

there should be a list of requirements at your local indian consulate's website. Look it up there.
