The consulate websites say that we need to submit two documents as proof residence. The websites say that these can be any two of the following:
- Driving license
- Lease agreement
- Utility bills (water, electricity or landline phone bill showing the address of the applicant)
I have lease agreement but I do not have a driving license and the utility bills are addressed in the name of my cousin who lives with me. I wanted to ask if I can submit the notarized utility bills containing my cousin's name, with my photograph affixed or some sort of statement from my cousin that we live together. I read something like this for parents and children, but is it applicable for cousins?
Another alternative for me would be to use a state id (not the driving license). Is that acceptable. I have tried contacting the San Francisco consulate many times but I haven't got a response.
