where can I get the photo taken for OCI

oci instructions asks for light background colored pics (and not white background).
All the stores I have been to provide only white background(cvs,walmart,walgreen).
I live in california. Can some one suggest how I can get the pics with light background color done for OCI (preferably in a store and not online ordering)

Taking the passport picture using your own digital camera is one option. Does that work for you? If so, you can buy color boards / charts at any Staples / Office Depot, fix it on the wall as background, and take the photo. Then you can take the digital medium (card) to any CVS and get prints. Any decent point and shoot camera should do the trick. Use flash and eliminate multiple sources of light to avoid shadows.
