PIO / OCI w/ expunged petty theft infraction

Hi,

I am a US citizen Indian origin with an expunged petty theft infraction. Incident occured prior to naturalization.

I am applying for OCI. Any tips on answering the generic question: state details of criminal proceedings if any.

The PIO does not ask for this.

If it is expunged, you can say no.
