    Guide me to get PIO card

    Hi all, need some serious help friends

    I am citizen of Canada but want to move to India this year. I am planning to marry my boyfriend in India this October and want to stay there only. Initially we planned that after getting married we'll go for my PIO right away 'using' being married to my boyfriend who is Indian citizen.

    Planned to go on Tourist Visa and then after getting PIO would have started working. BUT now I see that to be eligible we should be married for an year before applying for PIO, how true is that ?? That is so heart-breaking. Please guide us Immihelp, what to do ?

      So I'll need to return to Canada even after marrying my lover as soon as tourist visa expires ? Or there is some alternate solution
