Indian Passport renew in US

Hello,

I need to renew my passport. I am planning to apply in person at VSGLOBAL in NYC, but want to receive old+new passport by mail/courier.
I read on immihelp.com that i have to provide return envelope of USPS. Is it mandatory to provide USPS return envelope? can I provide UPS or FEDEx return shipping envelope?
