Continue working for Indian company

holding H4 visa and traveled to accompany spouse. Would it be legal to continue working for Indian company remotely while in USA? The salary will be paid in INR and the taxes will also be paid in India.

Its illegal to work while on H4. Doesnt matter whether you are working remotely or getting paid outside US.
