Scheduling Appointment Passport Renewal at San Fransisco

Hi,

I am trying to renewal my Indian passport which got expired almost a year back here in USA. I have visited VFS Global website, filled in the application form, got registered and now I am trying to schedule an appointment to send the form via mail and I am not able to select a date to schedule the appointment. I have emailed to Immihelp and got a response back to post my question in this forum. tried to schedule an appointment over phone and came to know that, that telephone number does not exist. visited consulate web site to see if I can find any information and through recorded messages got another contact number for passport related questions for VFS Global and came to find out, even that number is out of service. I dont know what else am I supposed to do to get the right information on how to schedule an appointment for passport renewal at SF branch and do I at all require one for applications via mail. Please, if anybody have any kind of info or if anybody is not facing any issue like me while scheduling one for that center, I appreciate if you can reply back for this post.

passport services changed to BLS from vfs

I am also in deep trouble as I mailed my application to VFS chicago on may 2 nd and they received on may 3rd, friday but on tuesday may 7th the vfs services are terminated and BLS took over, atleast for passport renewal services.

I have been calling vfs and trying to check status of my application online but in vain. I just got to know couple days ago that BLS is the company now and I called them for status, and they dont a have any record of my application. Also the person answered the phone at chicago BLS was not friendly and just said he will look into it. thats all and has not received any call back.

Please some body help what I should do as my passport is non traceable now. I sent it through Fedex to VFS and fedex confirms it reached vfs on Friday may 3rd and signed by ohri. But VFS is closed and BLS people cays they dont have any my records.

I am just scared as my passport is lost.
