I would appreciate any info in this regards
We had a 6 years of marriage applying for mutual consent divorce in the near future. Our marriage was registered back in India. We both are GC holders now. Our marriage isnt registered in US, however, we have applied for tax returns last 6 years as married.
My questions are as follows:
1. Is it must that we should apply for divorce in US (Since it hasnt been registered in US) and apply for divorce only in India.
2. What will be the quickest and peaceful way to get divorce ( US or in India)
3. Is it a must that we should be physically present for the divorce process in India, Should it be both of us in the same time. Both of us are busy in our respective works, so it may be diffcult to get vacations at stated time in India
