I am a NRI. I want to file tax for 2013.
From January to June 2013 , I was working in USA for an American company as an American employer (not an onsite employee).
From July 2013 , I moved to Europe. I started working in Europe for an European company as their employee.
I am an Indian. Working on visas.
I have a property in India. I get some rental income out-of-my-property in India. I have this only house on my name.
I did not take NRI loan. I took loan long back when I was in India working as an Indian employee.
I even do not have a NRI account from which the EMIs used to get deducted.
If I file Tax for my rental income in India, it is below the annual income limit . So my rental property income is not taxable in India.
Now, the situation is, I want to file my taxes in USA for January to June 2013. So, my question is , do I have to declare my property in India too ? Do I have to declare my rental income ?
