Indian Passport Renewal and PIO card Application

Hi All,

I want to renew my Indian Passport in USA as it is going to expire in another 9 months and at the same time I want to apply PIO card for my new born baby who has US Passport.

Is it possible to apply for both together ?

Both Passport renewal and PIO process will take not more than 2-3 weeks. Better to apply for PIO and once PIO is obtained for your child, apply for Passport extension
