Dear members,
I am in need to know if I can get marriage certificate in USA.
Background:
Bride - In USA with H1-B
Groom - In Canada with PR (has US B1/B2 visa)
Marriage - Happened in India.
Due to Special Marriage Act, we need one month stay in India to produce marriage certificate.
With our work commitments we are in need to come back to respective countries.
However, I am in need of marriage certificate.
My question: Can I produce marriage certificate in USA? Will India consulate help up to produce one?
Please note Groom is Canadian Resident with Indian Passport, I do not have any US identification.
