Send Power of Attorney from USA to India

I am in USA on H-1B visa. My parents and I want to purchase a house in India and I need to apply for a home loan in India. For the purpose of home loan and house purchase, I intend to prepare a power of attorney with my father as the agent. For some reason, I can't travel to India and prepare power of attorney there. I was wondering if it is possible to prepare a power of attorney in USA itself ? If it is possible then can someone please guide me about the process ? Would it require my father to travel to USA (which is also not possible since he does not a visa yet) ?
