I have a question regarding the immigration laws concerning Gold ornaments. I have a gold necklace that is 40.7 grams exactly that I bought in the USA, which I am planning to bring along with me to India when I visit this year. I will be carrying the receipt of purchase along with me as well. I wanted to confirm whether I am allowed to carry that or am I expected to pay any duty on the same.
