I'm planning to apply for USA citizenship in next two months, but before that I had some questions about my property that I hold in Bangalore India. I moved to USA in 2015 on immigration visa, I had bought the property in 2012, paying mortgage payment everything month through online from here.
I know that India doesn't allow dual citizenship, but my question is when I obtain new citizenship what happens to my property in India?
I will apply for the OCI card to travel to India but I'm worried about the property since it's a joint investment with my sister. I don't want my share of property to have any legal complication in future. Also, I still have another 10 years to pay off my mortgage with the bank, I won't be able to pay off the balance anytime soon.
Kindly share your opinion and suggest me to best of your knowledge.
