Queries related to baby born in USA with both the Parents having Indian citizenship

Request you to please answer few of my questions.

1.Can baby have both Indian and US passports?
2.Which citizenship would be preferable for baby to apply for, considering parents are going to stay in US only for next 4-5 years?
3.What problems parents will have to face if opt for Indian citizenship (Indian passport) for an US born baby while leaving and entering US? (I heard while immigration they will ask for US passport)
4.Which one is better option PIO or OCI to apply for?
5.I know there are few disadvantages having PIO/OCI with NRI status in India, are they really make sense for a baby till it will get to age of 18?

3. Once travelled outside US, to return, Indian PP has to be surrendered and US PP obtianed as US will not issue a visa to USC by birth.
4. No eligibility for OCI. Only PIO .
