HDFC Life insurance + Pension Plan
Does anyone know about HDFC Life insurance Pension Plans? I guess most of us on H1/F1/E3 visas do not have any 401K and/or life insurance options provided by our companies.
I just saw an ad for HDFC Life Insurance, they have some new life insurance + pension plans i.e. you pay small life insurance premiums until you retire and get a pension every month after retirement based on the life insurance premiums you have paid until retirement. (This is unlike traditional life insurance plans where you pay premium until you die and then based on the qualifiying criteria your family may or may not receive the benefits).
Has anyone tried this HDFC Unit Linked Pension Plus or any similar plan where you can get retirement income plus life insurance based on the life insurance premiums paid?
