I am looking for health Insurance to buy for myself and family(wife, 2 kids).

How much time it takes to get Insurance approval from yourside if I apply today only.
How we can get the approval papers? What are terms & conditions?

If you have not been staying in the US for at least 3 months, you will have to go through the medical examination before you will be eligible to purchase the insurance. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you have stayed in the US for 3 months to apply.

It takes around 1 to 2 weeks for the underwriting and approval after you apply. After that, insurance policy and the cards will be mailed to your California address.

As far the rule regarding eligibility for persons are who already not staying in the US, Blue Cross of California is the best.

You must be staying for 6 months in US before you can apply for Aetna, 2 years for Humana, 1 year for Assurant Health.
