I am ready to purchase accident/health insurance. I am currently a Canadian citizen and a greencard holder who has not yet moved to the US, specifically Texas.
It seems to me that if I purchase a form of visitors insurance and hold a greencard, like Insubuy has been trying to sell to me, they could claim that since I am already a greencard holder-and a future resident and not a VISITOR, this would preclude me receiving benefits if i were to have an accident and get sick.Could they not use this to deny claims???? If anyone can weigh in or has had experience buying travel insurance while already having a greencard I would appreciate it. Does anyone have positive and negative experiences with IMG or other forms of Travel/New immigrant inusrance?
Thanks
