I found out the requirements of the university, and looking at the page you emailed me I don't think I will be able to get one of the affordable options. However, you know better and you might be able to suggest something. I am looking to have an insurance from January 15 to April 30.
Please let me know
1. Minimum coverage of $100,000 USD for both accident and illness.
2. If you take a policy with a deductible, this must be less than $500 per individual.
3. Hospitalization must cover a per day minimum of $1,100 USD and ICU charges of $1,500 USD per day.
4. Co-insurance of 80% in network and 75% out-of-network (can be lower for domestic students).
5. Policy should cover the following:
o Physician office visits.
o Preexisting conditions.
o Mental health
o Maternity
6. For international students (F and J visa holders), the policy should include benefits of $25,000 for repatriation and $50,000 for medical evacuation. All dependents must be covered.
