Suggestion for right insurance for students

Hello Insubuy,


I am an International student. I accidentally Sprained my knee last week. Then i realized that the insurance my university was providing was expired a week ago. Please can you tell me which insurance can i go with for scans and surgery if possible.

I tried to reinistate the previous insurance but as per my university that is not possible as it was expired already.

Can i opt for a 6months long plan ? Please suggest what i can go with?

As per the university they can only provide the insurance after August as their slot open then.

This is my brother who is living in USA on student visa who has the problem. This accident happened a week ago and he is in severe pain and this insurnace trouble came up.
Please do some needful so he can have a cover for 6 months.

I understand this must be a stressful situation. International student health insurance plans typically cover scans and surgery for accidents like a sprained knee. However, since your school's insurance just expired, a new plan won't cover the existing injury.

I had to fight tooth and nail with my insurance broker. They didn't want to pay for my research, but after two months of emailing back and forth, I finally got my money.
