Need clarification - Atlas Essential America health plan

In Atlas Essential America health plan, I have two questions;

1. IF the deductible is per policy period and I initially buy it for three months and renew it for another three months, would the deductible carried forward ?

2. Who actually provides insurance 'Insubuy' or some other company?

The deductible in the Atlas Essential America plan is per policy period. The deductible will carry forward for the maximum amount of time that the plan is renewable which is 364 days. So the deductible is valid for the life time of the policy.

In Atlas Exchange, are the prescription drugs covered? And what about these in Atlas essential America?

Both of these Atlas series plans will cover prescription medications as it related to the new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy.


The Atlas Essential plan will only cover inpatient medications for example any medications administered if you were admitted in to the hospital for a covered accident or illness.

If you are given a prescription to pick up from a pharmacy this will not be covered in the Atlas Essential plan.

The Atlas Exchange plan will cover prescriptions drugs to the policy maximum, with a maximum supply of 60 days per prescription.

No, there is not an option for $1,000,000 policy max, the highest amount is $500,000 that you can choose and does not offer other deductible options.
