I am international scholar on J1 visa and my wife and two kids on J2 visa. I would like to know whether your health insurance scheme is acceptable by the authorities. We were told by the Florida Atlantic University's Department of international students & scholar office that we have to purchase a policy that is recommended by them. Unfortunately your policy is not recommended by them. Hence I appreciate if you could talk to them and find out whether I could switch over to your policy. I have sent an eamil to the Director, International Students & Scholar Office, FAU asking her to give permission to switch over to your policy and waiting her decision. Please let me know whether I could pay on monthly basis for the the policy for me + spouse + 2 kids.

Visit USA-HealthCare is NOT renewable policy. Therefore, you will have to pay upfront however long you want to purchase the insurance. If you pay for 1 month, and then repurchase the insurance for another month, everything will start all over again such as the deductible, co-insurance, pre-existing conditions etc.
