Regarding Affidavit For Babys Passport Issue in indai

Hi,

This is Sai Prashanthi.This thread is regarding the affidavit which is needed for my baby's passport issue.I stay in Kansas and the specified consulate for this state is Houston,Texas.My doubt is like should I go to the Houston Indian consulate only or else I could visa at any other Indian consulate in USA.I have a brother staying in New York and there is a Indian consulate in New York.

I also require what are the documents to be submitted for the affidavit issue.I pursuing my Masters in a university over here .

Any help is greatly appreciated,as the consulate people are not responding to any phone calls nor responding to any mails.

I have the same question as yours. Do we need to go the designated consulate assigned to my state (OH) or i can go to any consulate near by.
