My H1B issue date: 21st December 2015 and the expiration date: 22nd October 2016.
I came to Tennessee, on 19th January 2016 and within one month I cleared the Road Test for Tennessee Drivers License. I have submitted the following documents to DoS as proof [SSN, Indian Passport, I-94 and VISA copy]. Then after one week I received my License on mail which says Temporary Driver's License and has validity till 22nd October 2016. Can anyone help me to understand the term Temporary Driver's License.
One more question is: within one month I am going to relocate to some other state, can I renew my Temporary Driver's License in that new state or I need to convert this from TDL to DL before moving from Tennessee?
