Passport renewal & H1B stamp validity

Hi,

My passport expires on July 2007. My H1B visa expires on June 2007. I'm in India these days so I was thinking of renewing the passport. As I'll get a new passport number, will it cause any problems at the time of reentry to USA or will it invalidate my H1B visa stamp. Please advise.
