I have a indian passport and i am on H1 B visa in USA.last year in december i went to india and while entering the country the immigration Officer has put a clause on my I94 that i should get my I94 extended as my passport is getting expired in August 2009.He gave 6 months time from August 2009 within which i should take an appointment in USCIS and get my I94 extended.I also got my H1 transferred in March and now i have a new petition with new dates.
I have applied for my extension of passport last week,and i would be travelling to india again in june,so is it necessary for me to take an appointment in USCIS and get my I94 extended as i would be travelling to india again before august or how it would be if i take an appointment in USCIS and get the new I94 with the new dates in my petition
