Permanent address in US Passport for kid

Hi,

I am applying for US passport for my new born baby in US. I am not sure of the permanent address that I need to specify in the passport application.

1. Does the US passport reflect the permanent address that we specify in the application ?

2. Is it ok if I give India address as the permanent address ? As I am pretty sure that the current US address where I am staying is not permanent, also I will go back to India after sometime.

Unlike Indian passport, the address is not printed in the US passport.

You should give your current address in the application.

The fields for address in US passport are blank. You can write the address by pencil and keep changing when you move.
