H1 B grace period question

Hello All,

I am currently on H1 B and has to quit my job due to some personal reasons. What are the options do I have to maintain the status. Can I stay in USA for 2 months after I quit my job or it will be a problem?
If I plan to change my status to H4 visa what is the process and how long will it take,

Newacct has give the right information, you can stay for 60 days after ending your employment. Regarding changing of visa to H4, this thread might be of some help to you.
